  • “Are we trying to claim that the members have conflict too now?”
  • “Why do they have so much interest in them eating breakfast.”
  • “This is a photo taken without permission…and she’s probably just sleeping in…”
  • “Haerin is probably just sleeping.”
  • “Haerin is usually tired from using all her energy after performing.”

International netizens agreed that every move about the members have been overanalyzed since the injunction results were revealed.

Controversial Audition Program “UNDER FIFTEEN” Producers Break Down In Tears After Intense Backlash

UNDER FIFTEEN is South Korea’s latest audition program, primed to debut a girl group. It has not even aired yet, but it is already under heavy criticism. The premise of contestants under fifteen years of age rubbed many the wrong way.

On the afternoon of March 25, 2025, an urgent production briefing was held at the Stanford Hotel Seoul, located on World Cup Buk-ro in Mapo-gu, Seoul, regarding the show. During the briefing, a question was raised about whether the show would be aired as scheduled. Co-prodution CEO Hwang In Young became emotional and shed tears. PD Yong Seok In remarked that the contestants would be hurt if the show was not aired.

“...will sleeping (33)

The contestants are also deeply hurt by the distortions [in the intents of the show]. It’s very heartbreaking. The show should not be canceled. If it is, the emotional impact on the children and their parents will be significant.

— PD Hwang

The PD of the show reiterated that the show had already passed reviews.

It was also sent to the Korea Communications Standards Commission and the Korea Communications Commission. It was internally reviewed and deemed to have no issues.”

— PD Seo

UNDER FIFTEEN is the world’s first K-pop audition show specifically aimed at discovering talented performers under the age of 15, representing a generational shift. However, a teaser video released earlier showed a teenage contestant performing in a revealing outfit. Additionally, social media posts included profile images of the contestants along with a barcode-style design, leading to public criticism and concerns over the commodification of minors.

BTS’s J-Hope Touched In An “Inappropriate” Way At Recent Concert

Video of BTS‘s J-Hope being touched “inappropriately” at a recent show has sparked backlash.

J-Hope is currently on tour and has recently performed in Mexico.

There were rumors of a fan sliding her hander under J-Hope’s shirt during a show as the idol came into the crowd. It was then debunked, but a video went viral showing that a fan did touch J-Hope on the stomach without his consent.

In the clip, while fans were reaching for J-Hope to touch his hands as he interacted, one fan could be seen going for his stomach and touching it for a few seconds and even moving it down.

Comments shared their anger at how “inappropriate” the action was to fans and that behavior like this could lead to J-Hope not wanting to get so close to fans.

A TikTok was also posted showing what happened, but rather than focusing on what happened, it looked at all of J-Hope’s interactions with the fans.

NewJeans announce hiatus after setback in court battle

South Korean K-pop group NewJeans have announced they are taking a break from all activities, after a court ruled against them in their ongoing dispute with their record label Ador.

The five-piece, who have attempted to rebrand as NJZ, announced during a show at ComplexCon Hong Kong on Sunday that "this will be our last performance for a little while", after debuting their new song Pit Stop.

The court ruling on Friday forbade the group from organising their own appearances, making music or signing advertising deals during their dispute with Ador.

NewJeans are seeking to cut ties with Ador after accusing them of mistreatment, and have said they will challenge the court's ruling.

The Hong Kong concert on Sunday night marked the group's first public appearance since the court's decision.

After debuting their new song, the five members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Heyin took turns to read a letter addressing their fans in English and Korean.

"This stage means so much to us and every single one of you who gives us strength just by being here," Hanni and Dani said.

"It is really hard for us to say this, but this might be our last performance for a little while. Out of respect for the court's decision, we've decided to pause all our activities for now.

"It wasn't an easy decision," they added, "but we believe this is something we need to do at this moment."

The group also said that the decision was "about protecting ourselves so that we can come back even stronger".

"We had to speak up to protect the values that we believe in, and that was a choice that we don't regret at all," they added.

"We surely believe that standing up for our dignity, our rights and everything we deeply care about is something we had to do, and that belief will not change."

The speech ended an hour-long headlining set in front of a crowd of more than 11,000 fans at the AsiaWorld Expo Arena, Hong Kong's largest live music venue.

The group performed under their new name NJZ, in seeming defiance of last week's ruling.

In a statement on Monday, Ador said they "regret the members' decision to proceed with a performance under a name other than NewJeans, despite the court order, and their unilateral announcement of a suspension of activities".

"Ador is fully committed to supporting NewJeans, consistent with the terms of our legally valid exclusive contract," they added. "We hope to meet with the artists as soon as possible to discuss the path forward."

NewJeans and Ador have been embroiled in a lengthy dispute since August 2024, with the group going public with a number of complaints against the label, including that it had deliberately undermined their careers.

Hanni also alleged that she suffered workplace harassment while working with Ador.

The Seoul court ruled that NewJeans' claims did not "sufficiently prove that Ador violated their significant duty as part of their contract", adding that the music label had upheld "most of its duty including payment".

The court's decision prevents the band from conducting independent activities, which means it will face difficulty rebranding under its new name, NJZ, without facing severe financial penalties for breach of contract.

NewJeans are considered one of the brightest new bands in K-Pop, thanks to a playful blend of 1990s R&B and sugar-coated pop melodies.

In 2023, they were the eighth biggest-selling act in the world. Last year, they picked up a nomination for best group at the MTV Awards.

More than 50,000 killed in Gaza, Hamas-run health ministry says

More than 50,000 people have been killed in Gaza since the war began, the territory's Hamas-run health ministry said on Sunday.

That number - 50,021 - equates to about 2.1% of the 2.3 million pre-war population of the territory, or around 1 in 50 people.

A total of 113,274 others had been injured in the same period, the health ministry said.

In the past, figures from the Gaza Ministry of Health (MoH) were widely used in times of conflict and seen as reliable by the UN and international institutions. But Israel has consistently refuted data published by Gaza's authorities.

International journalists, including the BBC, are blocked by Israel from entering Gaza independently, so are unable to verify figures from either side.

The figures released by the health ministry for the number of people killed do not differentiate between civilians and fighters.

The war was triggered by Hamas's attack on Israel on 7 October 2023, in which about 1,200 people, mainly civilians, were killed and 251 other taken hostage.

Israel responded to the 7 October attack with a massive military offensive, which has caused huge amounts of destruction to homes and infrastructure, in addition to the 50,000 dead.

The ARMY Who Somehow Managed To Break Through BTS V’s Friendzoning

BTS‘s V truly loves ARMY… as a friend!

Known for “friendzoning” his fans on multiple occasions, he constantly refers to ARMY as his best friends.

However, there was once a fan who even made V blush with her suave words!

During a fansign event, a fan approached V and was ready to give him some constructive criticism.

Taehyung-ah, you’re doing well in every aspect except for one and I hope you can fix it.

— ARMY

Always wanting to do his best for his fans, V was interested in what the ARMY had to say.

Huh? Please tell me!

— V

However, she slipped in a smooth pick-up line — and he totally wasn’t ready!

My heart.

— ARMY

V shyly pulled his adorable hat over his eyes and covered his face with hands. It takes a lot to make V blush, so this fan has some smooth flirting skills!

Ah, please don’t do this to me… *blush*

Israel warns Lebanon after first rocket attack since ceasefire

Israel has warned it will "respond severely" after rockets were fired from Lebanon - the first since a bilateral ceasefire deal came into effect in November.

Sirens were heard in the northern Israeli town of Metula on Saturday morning and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said three rockets were intercepted. No injuries were reported.

No group has admitted firing the rockets. Lebanon's prime minister asked the military to take steps to prevent the country being dragged "into a new war".

IDF chief Eyal Zamir, however, said the "state of Lebanon bears responsibility" for upholding the ceasefire deal that ended 14 months of fighting with Hezbollah, the Lebanese armed group backed by Iran..

Local reports in Lebanon said artillery fire had been fired into some southern locations of the country. Israel has not confirmed.

The truce has been fragile: Israel has carried out nearly daily air strikes on what it describes as Hezbollah targets, and has indicated that attacks will continue to prevent the group from rearming.

In addition to that, the Israeli military is still occupying five locations in southern Lebanon, in what the Lebanese government says is a violation of the country's sovereignty and a breach of the ceasefire deal, which required the withdrawal of Israeli troops.

Israel says the Lebanese military has not yet fully deployed to those areas, and that it needs to remain in those points to guarantee the security of its border communities.

Saturday's rocket attack into Israel will put even more pressure on the Lebanese government, and probably be used as proof by Israel that the Lebanese army does not have full control of border areas.

Despite Israel's constant attacks, Hezbollah has not responded. The group faces the huge challenge of providing financial help to its communities affected by the war, and pressure from its opponents to disarm.

Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun, who came to power in January, has said only the state should have arms in the country, in what is seen as a reference to Hezbollah's arsenal. Lebanon's international partners say they will only help the country if the government acts to curb Hezbollah's power.

Hezbollah launched its campaign the day after the Hamas attacks on southern Israel on 7 October 2023, saying it was acting in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The longstanding conflict escalated and led to an intense Israeli air campaign across Lebanon, the assassination of Hezbollah's senior leaders and a ground invasion of southern Lebanon.

The offensive killed about 4,000 people in Lebanon - including many civilians - and led to the displacement of more than 1.2 million residents.

Israel's stated goal in its war against Hezbollah was to allow the return of about 60,000 residents who had been displaced from communities in the country's north because of the group's attacks, and to remove it from areas along the border.

Trump revokes security clearance for Harris, Clinton and others

US President Donald Trump has revoked security clearances from his previously defeated Democratic election rivals, Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton, as well as a number of other top former officials.

The move comes after Trump said in February he was revoking security clearance for his predecessor Joe Biden. He confirmed that move in the latest announcement, adding that he was also revoking the security clearance of "any other member" of the Biden family.

"I have determined that it is no longer in the national interest for the following individuals to access classified information," Trump's memorandum read.

Former US presidents and top security officials usually keep their security clearance as a courtesy.

Former Secretary of State Antony Blinken and former Republican lawmakers Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger were also on the list of those who lost their security clearances - as well as Fiona Hill, a former Russian affairs adviser in the first Trump administration.

The other names were: Jake Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Andrew Weissmann and Alexander Vindman.

Trump had earlier pulled security clearances of more than four dozen former intelligence officials whom he accused of meddling in the 2020 election in Biden's favour without providing evidence.

In 2021, Biden - serving president at the time - barred his defeated rival Trump from having access to intelligence briefings citing his "erratic behaviour".

The 3rd-Generation Boy Group Whose Exclusive Award Ended Up Being Sold To A Random Lady

A TikTok went viral after an unsuspecting K-Pop fan realized a gift their mom got them at a second-hand store in the Philippines was a genuine trophy from the MAMA Awards (previously known as the Mnet Asian Music Awards) for B.A.P, a popular third-generation K-Pop group.

Fans questioned how the award, won the year the group debuted, ended up at a street market, and many blame their corrupt former company, TS Entertainment.

B.A.P

B.A.P debuted in 2012 and immediately caught fans’ attention with their deep voices, powerful performance, matching bleached hair, and their maknae Zelo’s speedy raps.

B.A.P during their debut era.

The group quickly rose to become one of the top third-generation K-Pop groups. In their debut year, they won the coveted “Mnet PD’s Choice Award” at the MAMA Awards, which was formerly won by legendary groups such as S.E.STVXQ, and FT Island.

Any rookie K-Pop group would love to win an award at the MAMA Awards, and this was the award that was later discovered at a Korean shop. In a now-private TikTok, the current owner shared that they weren’t aware of K-Pop when their mom first gifted them the trophy. Now that they’re a K-Pop fan, they realize what the trophy is and the importance of the item they were gifted. The TikTok user has assured B.A.P fans that the trophy is being well kept and looked after in their possession, and fans want to know how it ended up in a secondhand market.

Comments on the TikTok video

Two years into B.A.P’s debut, just as they completed their first world tour, the group shocked fans when they sued TS Entertainment to nullify their contracts. The group sought to void their contracts on the basis of “unfair working conditions and profit distribution.”

In the first three years of their career, they earned $9 million USD but were only paid $18,000 USD each, while the company kept $8.9 million USD.

Although the company settled with B.A.P the following year, it was the beginning of TS Entertainment’s downfall after a series of lawsuits followed from their other signed artists.

The company had legal disputes with Secret‘s Jieun and HyosungSleepy from Untouchable filed to terminate his contract after the company refused to show him a copy of his contract and his earnings, Sumin and Nahyun of Sonamoo also filed a lawsuit against the company, and TRCNG‘s Wooyeop and Taeseon filed to terminate their contracts while also pursuing criminal complaints against the company for child abuse, assault, and extortion.

Part of the 2019 exposé released by Dispatch and TRCNG’s Wooyeop and Taeseon.

TS Entertainment shut down in 2021, and many fans feel that the company is to blame for the award ending up in a secondhand market.
